[The Blind Swordsman]

Nicely done! I think there were a few sequences where the audio could have been timed better. I feel as though you should be able to block up until the last moment a strike hits you. In addition, a few battles, like the crazy sister one, I sometimes would block successfully (hear the ping sound) and still die.

I have a few tips for people getting started and struggling.
First and most obvious, wear earphones, and to orient yourself to face your enemy turn in the direction in which the sound is the loudest.
Second, use block and strike often. Right before the enemy strikes, block, then strike a moment later. I find the best key setup is to use the left hand to move and block, and right hand to strike (use wasd and arrow keys together)
Third, it "seems" some enemies require consecutive strikes/blocks to kill. Find out the right combination.
Close your eyes and have fun!

[The Last Door - Chapter 1]

Pretty nice production value. The music is good and writing decent. The gameplay is a little bland, but the story is interesting enough to keep me playing. For a funded game, I was hoping for some more originality, but still a strong entry overall.

Nice Style, Gameplay so so

I love the art style, and the sound. The game seems quite morbid, and it suits me fine. I like how the screen shakes when you shoot. Very solid feel to it.
The gameplay was a bit generic, but I understand each game has its own goals and focus.
Here are a few bugs/polish areas:
- when walking against a wall, the footsteps audio still plays, but the character doesn't move
- the snow in the background moves up when you jump. Consider making the snow position independent of the character position
- the lunging knife girl has a very large hitbox. Consider tightening the hitbox around the sword area
- certain transitions between screens are not smooth. Just a fast jump, or the screen teleports to new location. Consider adding some fade effect or something.

Not Bad

girly me: kinda challenging I guess.
manly me: I liked the finishedness of the game. Very polished, nice interface. I liked the ambient music too.
girly me: add more tests.
manly me: some of the tests were limited by mouse accuracy- perhaps allow user to enlarge screen.
speed test- didn't really like it. If we're testing reactions, it was already done. and I'm not a very good typist.

I am enjoying this submission. I am treating this as an application when I suggest that:
1. Remove the introduction logos so that frequent users can go straight into the music
2. Be able to store some cookies saving user preferences such as the previous music filter settings.

Amazing...

There are many point and click adventures on newgrounds, but this one by far has become my favourite.
The intro and ending cinematics were a very nice touch and reminded me of the Monster by Mistake series I used to watch...

Absolutely amazing

Brings back some good memories. Just some great old school fun. A great pity that each game was only a demo, but nevertheless AWESOME.

The reloading sequence for the sniper was a little long and tedious.
